What is NOWET?
NOWET is a revolutionary product resulting from years of research and development. The all natural formula actually captures and reduces dirt particles and lifts them off the surface of your vehicle. This unique ability prevents scratches, unlike a traditional car wash, which merely grinds in the dirt. NOWET's patented formula also contains the finest Carnauba wax and Kaolin Clay along with 17 major active organic ingredients.

What does NOWET do?
Aside from leaving your vehicle looking new, NOWET waterless carwash prevents premature aging of your vehicle by sealing your vehicle with a UV protective coating; when applied on vehicle glass NOWET also prevents premature fading of interior as well, due to the harmful effects of the Sun! NOWET also REMOVES OXIDATION (dull white film) from your vehicle.

Can you clean dirty cars?

Yes. Your car does not need to be pre washed before using NOWET and it is safe for dirty vehicles. NOWET is a highly effective cleaner which easily removes dirt, grime, road film, tar, grease and oil without water, harmful chemicals, or the risk of scratching.

How does NOWET work?
Regular washing with water leaves tiny feather scratches. NOWET prevents this from occurring by protecting the finish while the dirt is still on it. NOWET encapsulates and emulsifies the dirt particles. In other words, NOWET shrinks the dirt particles and lifts them off the surface, without scratching the paint.

How do I use NOWET?
Using NOWET is as easy as ABC. There is no need to even wash your car before using NOWET. A: First, spray a thin layer of No Wet directly over a small area of the vehicle using the unique micro-mist pump applicator. B: With a clean terry cloth, wipe off the NOWET. C: When the haze appears simply use another clean terry cloth and buff the same area to a beautiful shine. An average car uses only about 60-125 ml of NOWET for a full waterless valeting job-car body, wind screen, windows, dash board, rims and even wheels. NOWET gives your vehicle an all-weather protective coating and a beautiful showroom shine.

What makes NOWET different from water and why does it work?
If you rinse a dirty vehicle off with water you will never release all the dirt. The only way to remove the rest of the dirt is to wipe it off with a cloth or sponge. As soon as you do that you trap the left over dirt between the cloth and the paint grinding the dirt into the surface creating swirl (light scratch marks) on your paint. With NOWET you don't rinse the surface off at all, all you do is spray a light mist over the area that you would like to clean. The ingredients in NOWET will release the dirt and grime from the surface and put the wax layer onto the paint. All you have to do now is wipe the dirt off lightly into an absorbent cotton cloth, and buff with the second.

How much product is used per clean?

It takes between 80-100mls to clean a standard size car with NOWET. Vehicles become easier to clean and less product is used after the first few treatments.

Is NOWET environmentally friendly?
NOWET is environmentally safe and contains no kerosene, petroleum distillates, harmful silicones, solvents or abrasive agents. 100% organic, Non-Toxic and Biodegradable, ALL ingredients are derived from bio-based, organic sources. NOWET has the ability to save millions of gallons of water on a daily basis. One litre of NOWET saves an average of 2,000 gallons of precious water resources. NOWET is V.O.C. Compliant. We know of no other product of this type that can make that claim.

How do I know that NOWET is GENUINELY environmentally friendly?
Probably the easiest way is by using your powerful sense of smell. Some products have a harsh, unpleasant odour, unlike NOWET which has a pleasant, natural smell. NOWET is made from all natural ingredients and doesn't contain any hazardous components. This is supported by its Material Safety Data Sheet, a document in which the hazardous ingredients of a waterless car wash must be listed by law.

What criteria and standards do NOWET have to meet to be V.O.C. Compliant?
Must be free of any known human carcinogens, mutagens or teratogens. Contains no known or suspected carcinogen, mutates, dermatogens. Must not contain compounds or substances, which cause or contribute to the creation of atmospheric greenhouse gases, ground level smog or ozone depletion Does not contain any fluorinated or chlorinated hydrocarbons. Must not be corrosive to skin or inanimate surfaces. The PH is not considered corrosive to skin or inanimate objects. Must not be delivered in single use aerosol cans or cans using ozone depleting propellants It is non-aerosol. Must not contain petroleum-derived or petrochemical blended fragrances Does not contain any petroleum or petrochemical derived fragrance. Must not contain heavy metals that are toxic to humans, animal life or the environment Does not contain any heavy metals. Must not contain petroleum distillates unless no natural alternative is available, and then only if the distillate meets the human safety and environmental profile outlined herein. Does not contain any petroleum-based hydrocarbons. Should not be combustible below 150°F There is no flash point up to boiling. Must not contain chlorine, chlorinated or brominated solvents Does not contain any of those compounds. Must not contain compounds that persist or bio-accumulate in human or animal tissue or in the environment. Does not contain any of those compounds. Must not contain volatile organic compounds (VOC) at levels exceeding the limits established by the Southern California Air Quality Management District Resources Board for the applicable product categories. Products must not be listed on the hazardous air pollutants list of the Environmental Protection Agency The product is VOC compliant. Should be readily biodegradable at greater than 90% in thirty days without the need of being run through a municipal effluent treatment process. If not biodegradable due to inorganic content the ingredient must be chemically inert. The product is biodegradable. What actually is V.O.C. Compliant?
NOWET WATERLESS WASH & WAX IS V.O.C COMPLIANT! WE KNOW OF NO OTHER PRODUCT OF THIS TYPE THAT CAN MAKE THIS CLAIM! Once again NOWET Waterless Valet products are light years ahead of all competition. Many organic solvents used by industry contain Volatile* Organic Compounds (VOC's). VOC's combine with other pollutants in the presence of sunlight to form ozone, a major component of smog. Ozone, a corrosive, trapped in the air we breathe damages our health, crops and property. State and Federal laws require Air Pollution Control Districts (APCD) and Air Quality Management Districts (AQMD) to regulate the emissions of VOC's. The California Air Resource Board (CARB) and 17 northeastern states that are members of the Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) are now regulating the VOC (volatile organic compound) levels of many "consumer products" with the goal of improving air quality. California has been regulating the VOC content in consumer products for several years now. In contrast, VOC regulations in the northeastern states are into effect from 2005. Product Class: "Automotive Instant Detailer" VOC Maximum content is 3%, NOWET easily complies with this mandate. Noncompliant products, if manufactured after 4/31/05, should not be sold or used in Maine. If manufactured after 12/31/04, should not be sold or used in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, DC or California. It is anticipated that all states will ultimately regulate the VOC content of consumer products. Why should I wax my car?
As well as cleaning your car it is important to wax it regularly as well. This is because waxing leaves a coat which protects the paint from the environment as well as leaving a deep, lustrous finish.

Why do we use Carnauba Wax and Kaolin Clay in NOWET?
Being a natural plant by-product, that will not react with any paint, Carnauba provides a very hard film over your car's surface to protect against airborne contaminants such as acid rain residue, catalytic converter emissions, bug tar, road grime, salt and bird droppings etc. etc. Carnauba also dramatically reduces paint oxidation by diffusing (refracting) UV and infrared radiation from the sun, which can oxidize and dull your paint finish. NOTE: Pure Carnauba is harder than concrete. NOWET WASHES, WAXES, POLISHES & SEALS any non-porous surface you apply it on, without the need of our most precious natural resource WATER! Kaolin Clay is a natural, non-abrasive, surface preparation that gently pulls out the grit, tar, grime, oil and pollution from your vehicle's paint or clear coat surface before it's buffed or waxed. Superior to Traditional car wash! Two educational studies-one from the University of Texas, and the other from the Technical University of Munich, in co-operation with Mercedes Benz prove that a single hand wash produces 1/10 as deep as the paint's thickness, far too many scratches to count. This repeated abrasive scouring destroys the paint's ability to achieve or maintain a gloss, or to provide protection against rust and corrosion. NOWET cannot and will not cause swirl mark scratches.

Will the Carnauba Wax build up?

If I have sand or grime on the surface, does it not scratch the paint?

Can I use it on my wheels?
Yes, even on alloys for a fast and fabulous finish. No need for acid-based cleaners. Organic NOWET not only cleans and shines but it removes brake dust and grease very easily, leaving a barrier to minimize future brake dust effects.

Can I use it on my windows?

I have a convertible and have a plastic rear window, will it clean it or leave marks on the window?
It will clean it without leaving marks and it will also seal it and prevent dirt e.g. smoke from cigarettes sticking.

What if it rains, should I still clean my car?
Yes. NOWET cleans, polishes, waxes, seals and protects the exterior paintwork of your car. Water will bead off the surface and can be removed with a chamois, leaving a shiny finish.

Why is NOWET more expensive than some other waterless car washes?
NOWet is a quality product at a fair price. It contains only the best natural ingredients and produces an unmatched finish. It was developed over 12 years ago in the USA and not as a result of the current water shortage. There are some waterless car wash products that have recently 'appeared' on the market and we recommend that you treat their cheap price and short-term history with a high degree of caution.
